Ashwaubomay Lake

Ashwaubomay Lake is located within Ashwaubomay Park at 2881 S. Broadway Drive.  The lake will be open the weekend of June 1 & 2  and then open for the season on Friday, June 7.  Hours of operation are daily from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. with Wednesdays open until 8:00 p.m.  The lake will close for the season on Thursday, August 15.  Lake Amenities include:

  • Zero-depth entry sand beach
  • 1 & 3 meter diving boards
  • Tube slide
  • Sand & water playground equipment
  • Sand volleyball court
  • Sun arbors
  • Picnic areas
  • Concession stand

Birthday Party Rentals

Ashwaubomay Lake offers a fun and unique birthday party package.  Birthday party are available daily.  The birthday party package includes:

  • Personalized cake (1/4 sheet)
  • Balloons
  • Fruit punch beverage (1 gallon) 
  • Use of 1/2 of the open shelter next to the cafe for the day 
  • $1 off regular lake admission rates to everyone in your party

The birthday party package rate is $35 Residents & $50 Non-Residents (plus tax & reduced admission rates).

After Hour Rentals

Ashwaubomay Lake is available for rent before and after the normal lake hours.  Hold your next company, church or group picnic, social or special event at Ashwaubomay Lake.  Your group can have Ashwaubomay Lake exclusively to yourselves.  Rentals amenities include:

  • All necessary lifeguard personnel
  • Free use of the open shelter adjacent to the cafe
  • Exclusive use of the facility
  • Optional Cafe open for snacks or dinner (additional fee required)

Rental fees are based on 2 hour rental times and are $125 Residents & $140 Non-Residents (plus tax)
