Manage and protect the Village's financial resources by applying generally accepted accounting and investment principles in accordance with state and federal law and all applicable Village ordinances and policies.

Led by the Village Finance Director, the Finance Department  provides fiscal policy recommendations to the Village President, Village Board, and Village staff and is responsible for all financial activities and functions of Village government.  This includes:

  • Maintaning all financial records for the Village
  • Billing and collections
  • Accounts payable
  • Investment and cash management
  • Property tax collection for the Village and other taxing jurisdictions
  • Coordinating the annual operating and capital budget process for all Village operations
