A place to start is with the Building Inspector and Zoning Administrator, located in the Public Works Department at Village Hall. He can assist with zoning, building permits (Municipal Code Sec. 5-40) and/or direction for property development. There are regular inspections which will take place including weights and measures (Municipal Code Sec. 6-438) and annual fire inspections (Municipal Code Sec. 13-26). Initially, the Business Information Log will be required for contact information of your business and/or building.
